What kind of clothes should I bring to Seattle? |
Travel Info Im going on a trip to seattle and vancouver in august. What kind of clothes should I bring? sweaters , shorts or something in between? Ive checked those travel websites but its better to find out from a local or from someone thats been there. Travel Tips Some of these idiots who are replying do not live in Seattle/Pacific Northwest and migrated up from California in recent years. They ***** and whine when it rains and gets below 50 degrees in the winter months and never let up. Anyways ... In the past month, we've had less than 0.2" of rain. The best place to be during the summer months in the United States is the Pacific Northwest (in terms of temperature). Bring a wide range of clothes; but you'll probably be wearing shorts and a t-shirt during the day if you're in Seattle most of the time. Average temperature is 75-82 degrees for August. Night time lows usually average around 50-60 degrees. At night, a pull-over sweatshirt or wind breaker should suffice. If you plan on going up in the mountains or out along the Washington coast, bring some warmer clothing for wind or cold nights. If it does rain outside, you will likely still be wearing shorts along with a coat of some kind. Hope this helps, Life long Washingtonian Others A RAINCOAT!!!!!!!!!!! preferably a rain coat Will be the best time of the year, but you should still plan on bringing long pants, sweatshirts, and a closed toe shoe. Oh and don't forget your umbrella...... My aunt lives there. At that time it will be sunny and the temperature should be in the low to mid 80's. I hope this helps :) raincoats would be helpful cuz it rains a lot there, but now they should be having good weather, so i think you couuld bring a pair of shorts (or capris) and a t-shirt..and you'll be set! GO Naked, it's more fun! |
