What would you rather have 229 days of clouds and some drizzle or 250 of bad air days and crappy water!!!!?

Travel Info
I think its pretty funny how people from Dirty air California cities, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Houston, etc.... complain about are beautiful yes beautiful Pacific Northwest environment. Seattle is green and clean for a reason RAIN IS GOOD!!!!!!!. These places that I mentioned above always promote how they get 300 plus days of sun but know ever talks about out of those 300 days 250 are so hot and dirty you can't even go outside. Try being in Phoenix or Vegas 6 months out of the year and take your kids to the park. The Pacific Northwest hands down is the most physically beautiful areas in this country post card beautiful and below are just some tidbits for the ignorant and uneducated about the Seattle area;
1.) Seattle is the most educated MAJOR CITY in Amereica. 42% of population 25 and up 2.) Seattle is in the top 5 of fittest cities in America both physically and mentally, and 3.) Seattle is one of the most liberal open minded places in this country. Not that I'm getting defensive lol

Always wanted to go there. I love the rain and it just seems like it'd be a nice place to visit.
i 100% agree, it's almost like seattle is judged because we have rain, but i'd rather have rain than hurricanes, and violent storms and massive heat waves. seattle is much more than just rain, so much more!
Seattle is by far my favorite city in this country. Not only is the air clean, and beauty all over the city, a person can actually move there are start a life.
I completely agree with you! I grew up near Seattle and moved to Florida six years ago. I figured the sun would cheer me up, but when it's summer and I can't even go outside for more than five minutes before I start sweating puddles. I get defensive about Seattle too, it'll always be home to me :) And there is next to nothing as far as culture goes down here. Maybe I'm in the wrong part of Florida, but it's a lot of retirees and stuck-up people, and the beach is way too crowded. Give me Puget Sound and the Pacific Ocean any day! Actually, I'm hoping to be able to move back in the next few years; my husband and I are definitely sick of the heat, and I want my daughter to know what snow is!!! Thanks for the GREAT question :)
I would definitely choose Seattle over those cities and I used to live in CA. I will say though that on bestplaces.net the air quality in Seattle is just as bad as those other cities.
A-men AP! A-men!

However, I do enjoy a few weeks of sun around December/January (visits to Lake Havasu). I think of it more as a Vitamin D recharge.
