For those seattlelites who used to live in San Diego or So Cal? |
Travel Info Im a 32 yr old single guy who's looking to move west. i love san diego for its weather and beaches...however i love seattle for its music and alternative people. Can anyone who's lived in both places give me some insight on what their experienes have been? thanks! Travel Tips I used to live in San Diego, and I have been to Seattle (I am actually considering a move there). If I were to choose I would probably choose Seattle, but it depends on what is important to you. If you're looking for a singles scene, you might prefer San Diego. I have heard that while people in Seattle are friendly, it is hard to make friends there. If you like outdoorsy stuff like hiking, then Seattle would definitely be better. Seattle is also less expensive. If you like lots of sunshine, then San Diego is better for that, although I don't think Seattle gets as much rain as it's reputation indicates. Others I've got family in Seattle and it raily rained while I was there. San Diego was nice, but you're spot on with prices!! I hear people complaining about the pricing in Seattle... but I find they haven't lived elsewhere. There's something about CA; nice to visit but..... Hi I was born in california and was raised in Oxnard california by santa barbara and Ventura and then moved to Washington state. I honestly like Washington state better people are laid back here and very multi cultural and open minded. I moved from Orange county a year ago to Vancouver Washington, i love here alot..people here very nice and open mind ....not like California selfish and show off like crazy |
