IL Fernaio's on 6th for Italian (I think I spelled it wrong)

Attactions:
Space Needle of course
Waterfront
Pike Place Market
Blake Island Cruise/Tour

Hotels:
Stay at the Elliott Grand Hyatt Hotel
Or the Edge Water on the Waterfront

Others
Learn about the mass transportation system or get a centrally located hotel within walking distance of everything, because the traffic there is HORRENDOUS. I am from New York, and spent some time in Chicago, and I have NEVER seen traffic like in Seattle. It took me over half an hour to drive less than half a mile from my Hotel to Safeco Field, and that doesn't even count looking for parking. There isn't any parking, except in pay to park lots.

It's still a blast though, don't miss Pike Place Market and the surrounding district, very BoHo, very cool. They have some great fish places right in the area.

Have fun!!
The seafood is unbelievable. Try the Crab Pot on the Piers, they serve you by the ton in a very relaxed setting. On Saturdays and Sundays you MUST go to Salty's on Alki Beach for the Brunch, which includes seafood, carving station, great desserts and a spectacular view of Puget Sound and the Seattle skyline.
Pike Place Market is nice to visit, there's something for everyone.
Go to Boeing and take the plant tour, it's breathtaking to see how fast they assemble a huge airplane.
Take a tour to San Juan Islands, Mt. Rainier and Mt. Helens. And ride the Spirit of Washington, the dinner train.
Have a nice trip...
been there, eaten everything!
You should find someone local to show you around if you can. My brothers lived there and we walked all over the place. It was beautiful. BUT, be prepared for rain. I loved it but my parents didn't. Go to the Space Needle. Totally worth the veiw, but go as the sun is setting.
The best way to experience the city is to walk and/or use public transportation. Not only is it full of traffic like any other major city, you'd miss a lot of cool shops and stuff if you took a car! Check out the piers, cool shops on 3rd street, Pike Place Market, the Seattle Center - where the Space Needle is, and take a ferry to Bremerton or Bainbridge Island. There, in Kitsap County, is where it's fun to drive around and visit some of the smaller towns like Poulsbo, and you can drive up to Point No Point, which is the tip of the county that juts into the sound. Have fun!
