Which city would you move to if you were from Las Vegas? Seattle or San Diego? |
Travel Info I can't take the hot, dry Las Vegas summers anymore. Any insight would be helpful. Travel Tips I lived in Las Vegas in the 1990's so I can relate to what you're saying. I returned to Seattle about nine years ago. If you are into golf and sun then San Diego is the place for you. But be prepared for high cost of living with real estate and apartment rates. CA has a state income tax that you won't like coming from NV. If you are experienced in the gaming industry Seattle is a good bet because of the Indian casinos and even some casinos south and north of downtown Seattle. WA does not have a state income tax, just like NV. Yes it rains a lot but that's what makes things green and fresh smelling. There are many outdoor activities and many tech jobs with Boeing and Microsoft the major employers. I'm biased for recommending Seattle over San Diego so you best visit a couple of times in each location to make an informed decision. Always good to seek employment opportunities prior to moving anyways. http://www.seattlechamber.com/servlet/pa... http://seattle.craigslist.org/ http://www.sdchamber.org/ http://sandiego.craigslist.org/... Others seattle San Diego by far, if you can afford it! SEATTLE!!!! i like both, and San Diego is very tempting, but i would go to Seattle because i love rainy days, it isn't that cold in the winter, they have GREAT salmon, i like the library at the University of Washington, and it i a high tech area. Seattle. San Diego is so expensive to live in. Seatle is a real up and coming place these days, lots of industies are moving there, lots of new jobs. And it rains a ton, so no more dry heat. I love Vegas and the desert though! Seattle is a great friendly place... and it doesnt really rain that much |
