It used to rain quite a bit even into the summer months, but not so much anymore. Oh Ya! I love rain too. The amount of rain in inches per year is actually less than New York City and most other popular cities across the country. The difference is that we have more "rainy/overcast" days with drizzle and heavy cloud cover instead of steady downpours and thunderstorms. I live here,...and when my parents came to visit they brought a Seattle's visitor guide that they got from the city tourism board, which mentioned the rainfall in other cities. |
