Travel Tips I know that if you join an automobile association that they can plan a detail route with alternate routes they will also show you where the road works are etc not sure if mapquest would do that?? that is also another option..i think AAA would help... Others Just do the speed limit..if you go through a speed trap, it does not mean it is on the ground, they use airplanes also and you never know when or where..getting pulled over slows your trip and gives those passing something to laugh at especially if you were hauling a**..also people have cell phones and could just call you in..have a safe trip. An alternate route would be PCH or 101 along the coast. It's a magnificent drive. There's also, old hwy 99. That's slightly different from I-5. |
