Travel Tips The Changi Village Hotel is an excellent choice if you are looking for a quiet corner of Singapore (near the sea) to be away from everything else. The hotel was newly opened only in August 2004 so all the furnishing etc are brand new. I've had 2 colleagues stayed there before (and I was with them). For price/performance, this is a very good choice. Others Le Meridian, Changi Village is relatively new and is the nearest to the Airport. Unless you are planning to travel around on the MRT (subway equivalent), it is not advisable, as it is further away from most attractions such as Orchard road, zoo, clarke quay. If you are on a tight budget, you could try Hotel 81, they have branches in various parts of Singapore. Try: http://www.hotel81.com.sg/ |
