Is Columbia, MO a nice place to live?

Travel Tips
Yes, its wonderful. I was born and raised there so Im a little baised. Its a college town so it is a small town but with a bit of a big town feel. Lots of festivals and fun things to do year round. Beautiful parks and a wonderful nature trail that stretches to KC. The university is beautiful with many historic buildings. A very liberal town because of the universities. Hope you enjoy it, go check it out some time.

I attend University of Missouri - Columbia or MIZZOU, and it is a great place to live. it is a college town but the north, south, and west side are all great places, and it's so beautiful, you should check it out!
I went to school there also.

Found this on moving.com:
"Columbia, Missouri: Quality schools, quality health care with a low cost of living and low unemployment. One of Money Magazine鈥檚 top three 鈥淏est Small Cities.鈥?

Columbia is a college town. That says a lot. There is Hulen's Lake close by and lots to do. Columbia is about half way between St Louis and Kansas City (125 from either city). Lake of the Ozarks is one of the favorite vacation spots for the State, just south of Columbia.
