Travel Info What are some fun family things to do in the St. Louis area? Travel Tips hrm lets see...There is always the Arch, City Museum, Bowling Hall of fame (yeh ehh..some people likes it) all three are located in the downtown area. Then in Forest Park there is the Science center, Zoo, Art museum, History Museum which are all free, there is also the Muny were you can see outdoor plays in the summer for cheap, oh and the butterfly house! Other points of interest would be the botanical garden or Laumier (sp>) Sculpture park. The Loop which is on Delmar near the west end has lots of stores to shop at and fine places to eat. If you are into native American points of interest right across the river you can also visit Cahokia Mounds. Source(s): or try thiss website for more idears http://www.explorestlouis.com/attraction... Other Travel Tips Take atrip to the top of the Arch. It is a very fun ride with a wonderful view at the top. Also some good history. Any sports home games. St. Louis is a big sports town. There is a brand new Busch Stadium that just opened, if you enjoy baseball. The Arch is pretty awesome, and there is a museum at the bottom. I heard there is a museum or two there. I would check out the library too. Go to the arch, to the top. Near there is the spaghetti factory which is an absolutely awesome place to eat. The Zoo. Its free thanks to a very wealthy man and its allot of fun. |
