Where can we get an affordable room in St. Louis, Missouri, that will be comfortable for 4 adults? |
Travel Info Four adults want to stay near downtown St. Louis in July. We would like a spacious room with either two queen beds or adjoining rooms with 4 beds. Does anyone have a recommendation of where to stay or where to look for our request? Also, if anyone has information on the public transportation system there, we'd be interested in hearing your suggestions. Thanks for any help! Travel Tips That depends on the cost or the fancy of the hotel. Westin is old but fancy and right next to the ball park and Adam Mark's Hotel is one of the most fanciest hotels in America. Others You may wanna check out www.druryhotels.com too! :) how much do you want to spend? There's the Adam's Mark, Hilton, etc check out the sites posted below...whatever you do don't stay in hotels along Jefferson Ave/Bad neighborhood As far as transportation is concerned, there is the metro link but as of right now its a straight shot from Lambert International airport to downtown over to Scott Air force Base in Belleville, Illinois. I use metro link for sporting events, downtown events etc...it's not bad....The only negative thing about metro link...no access to suburbs and this is where I live...so i have to drive to a free metro parking lot in order to use it...The bus service if great for the city but again there aren't a lot of buses in the St. Louis county at least where I live... http://www.hotels-stl.com/dtsl.htm... http://www.metrostlouis.org/ http://www.metrostlouis.org/metrolink/st... Modified 11 months ago Definately check out the metrolink. I use it all the time. |
