Other Travel Tips whoa...there was a floating mcdonalds?? i wish i coulda seen that before it closed! It was a really long time ago. At least 5 years ago...The last time I remember it actually being there was right before or after the Flood of 93. I am unsure if that had anything to do with it. The last date I can find online is 1998 (I googled floating McDonalds since it was the only one in the US) i loved that place i had my 7th grade field trip there! It was so neat! It has been years since the McDonalds closed. the whole riverfront area is gone, compared to what it once was. such a shame used to be things to do right there below the arch. now nothing. It did?
