Will GSM Phones Work in USA and Do the Service Providers offer Sim Cards? |
Travel Info I will be Leaving for US(presently in INDIA) Soon, I have a nokia 7610 and I Would Like to know if This phone of Mine will work in the US and are there Service providers which provide SIM cards in the US? I've Heard that ALL Us Providers have CDMA Services. Travel Tips Cingular and ATT Wireless currently are the only major wireless providers in the United States that run on the GSM Network. They use a sim card and your Nokia phone should be compatible here in the US. Others your gsm phone will work but you have to take international roaming facility from your service provider of india. |
