Where to stay in Maryland Heights/Wesport? |
Travel Info I'm planning spending two nights in Maryland Heights, preferably close to Westport - and I would like to stay at a nice hotel (3 star, 2 1/2 maybe) within walking distance to westport - in case we decided to drink we wouldn't have to drive.... It would be nice to stay at a place that has a balcony, because we don't normally smoke, but we do when we drink and would like to go oustide to do this. Any suggestions, PLEASE? Travel Tips Stay at the Sheraton in Westport -- it's walking distance to the bars and is reasonable. Have a fun time. Others check here for accomodation options http://www.thevirtualtravel.com... There are a few busniess hotels in Earth City which is just a few minutes away. Marriot, Candlewood suites, Doubletree, and a Holiday Inn (two actually cause they just took over the sheraton) www.vrbo.com is the best lodging website I've stayed at the Holdiay Inn -- it is OK but you have to drive to anyplace you want to go. The Shearton is OK but is getting older and could use a facelift. Actually Harrah's has a hotel connected to their casion that isn't far from there. I would stay there. It is new, nice and connected to bars the casino, great restaurants -- that would be my choice. |
