What are the best things to do in Wollongong, Australia? |
Travel Info I'm going to Wollongong on July 4, 2006 for a semester. I was wanted to know what is the best things you can do. Maybe some insight to what it's like to live there. Things I should be aware of would be nice too(hehe). Travel Tips Depending on your interests, Wollongong has some of the nicest beaches in Australia (without crowds), nightlife is good, Nice restauarnat strip in the heart of the Gong. Good walking trails on the escarpment. Tourist spots worth visiting are Buddist Temple at Berkeley, Blow Hole at Kiama (when surf is up). Township of Berry (wineries and farms nearby). Look out for main street of Port Kembla at night (undesireables lurk). anyway have fun and best of luck with your studies Others i;ve been there fun as |
