Travel Info What is a good, clean, and safe and relatively inexpensive hotel in Taipei? Travel Tips You have really budget places where you can sleep for around 1200NT or less. They are mostly around the Taipei main train Station. There are a few south of the train station in Huaining Street and around there. A few names are Paradise hotel, chuan chia huam hotel, new mayflower hotel and the East dragon hotel. In Chang'an West road one block north of the train station is also an area where you can look for cheap hotels. like fortune hotel, senator hotel, hotel 6F and life hotel. If you are not aiming for the most cheapest one than you could go for the Keymans hotel, royal hotel or the YMCA they go up to 2000 NT for a double or the Cosmos hotel(next to the train station)between 3000-5000 NT and the Emperor hotel what has rooms for around 3000-3500 NT This are a few I gave you. Sorry I can't tell you who is better, because I never been there, except the Cosmos. I think it is quit nice and also very convenient because it is next to the train and MRT station.
