Travel Info is it a safe country to spend your vacation Travel Tips one thing before i answer-trinidad is one island,tobago is another.it is not one single country. i am trinidadian have lived here all my life(20 years) and the general idea is that tobago is safer.i personally think that trinidad is not completely unsafe.i don't think the level of crime is so shockingly different from most other countries.also, it depends what type of crime you are looking at because tobago is not that safe either.does not mean that one needs to visit either country with the fear of being killed whilst taking a walk.i think one needs to be more conscious of being robbed than anything and just take the precautions that you would wehn travelling to any other country. Others tobago side is more tourist friendly-beaches are beautiful yes i have it is beautiful Tobago is the place to go (I went there a few years ago)! it's a delightful place with caribbean beaches, great diving/watersports, easy car hire and relaxed tourism. Trinidad is not so safe. i live in trinidad. even though the country is beautiful, crime has been increasing lately... though, i believe tobago is much more safe I think Tobago is more worth visiting than Trinidad. |
