The last time I was there very friendly - but since the US intervention in the Middle East, I am not sure if this is still true. Personal experience Yes. I visited Tunisia this year for work. It is beautiful, safe and friendly. After a late night of work, I felt safe walking down the streets of Tunis at 3 am. Tourism is very important to them - so they take good care of safety. The people there are so kind. The food is wonderful - the hotels are magnificent. I recommend the "Residence" - right on the Mediterranean. It is a palace. We traveled to the Northern tip of Africa and through the olive fields and wine country and through the old markets for shopping. Highly recommended. travel experience Modified 1 year ago |
