When going on holiday to Sousse in Tunisia, what are the do's and don'ts?

Travel Tips
First of all Sousse is a great place, good shopping, nice food, and great nightlife with lots of different bars and nightclubs to choose from, local alcohol is quire reasonable but the imported stuff can be a bit steep.

You just have to bare in mind that if you go to the medina (which is the old arab town)don't do so wearing just a bathing suit as with is being a muslim coutry it can be seen as disrespectful, especially if you are going past any mosques, you just need to basically cover your shoulders etc but a sleeveless top should be ok.

Make sure you just drink bottled water as you don't want to get a bad stomach and ensure you use plenty of sun lotion especially if you are planning to walk all day or sun bathe all day because even though I am part Tunisian, I burn, and when you are next to the sea, the breeze is quite deceptive and you don't realise how hot it is.

All in all just have a great time, if you go to market stalls or the shops in the medina barter as much as you can, try offering half and then negotiate up, in some shops they have fixed prices and fixed means fixed.

I'd also recommend you take a taxi to port el kantoui which should cost amaximum of 5 dinars...拢2.50 ish, where they have a beautiful marina and little shops.

There is also an aqua park near sousse and you may even find an excursion to the roman amphitheatre El Jem which is an hour or so drive away. You should find plenty of leaflets at your hotel.

I don't know if that was the exact question you asked....but hope it helps! Have a great holiday

Do whatever you want, don't get into trouble.
Be careful of the heat but don't wear anything too revealing- and if you have a sensitive belly be careful of the spicier foods- take something for diahorrea
Well its a muslim country so being muslim is a plus being an Amerian is a negative, stay with your chaperone or guide.
an international driver's license is agood idea (cabbies charge 2-3 times more for tourist's)buy bottled water but everything you eat has some local water in it so you probably get a lil tummy ache for a bit.exercise your peripheral vision.bring cash but leave most of it and your passport someplace safe preferably your hotel safe .have fun.
