I am engaged at the moment and want to be married soon but this waiting is turning into years. I want more info. of course. even babies need passports if they need to travel out of the country. Yes. Americans used to be able to cross the Canadian border with just a driver's license, but "them days are over." Even before 9/11, Bush Sr. was on his "zero tolerance" anti-drug campaign and tightened the U.S./ Canadian border by requiring passports. I just asked a flight agency this question for a friend a few days ago and they told me that all you need is 1 form of Photo ID AND your birth certificate. But, passports are the safest way to go. |
